Do You Have Acne During Pregnancy?

By Veronica Nelson Watts

During pregnancy, acne is unpredictable. For some lucky women, the result is a welcome surprise. Women are told that they have 'glow of pregnancy' when they have clear skin. You better not be complacent about that clear looking skin. This is because when acne penetrates your skin, it can disappear during pregnancy and it often recurs afterward.

Most often, pimples tend to pop right when you least expect it. For a woman who is experiencing post-pregnancy, acne problems are likely to surface right before your period. This is because of the estrogen levels falling and progesterone levels rise. This stimulates the sebaceous glands to produce extra oil; this excess oil found on your skin in turn produces an unwanted by-product, acne.

Pregnancy is a time of tremendous hormonal upheaval. Your level of estrogen and progesterone are rising, and your skin becomes more sensitive to the changes in the circulating hormones in your body. Some women even experience acne for the first time they become pregnant, even if they never had acne in their earlier years.

Acne is a perfectly common occurrence during pregnancy. There's no way to prevent it from developing during pregnancy, but be patient and, with time, your skin will probably clear up and return to its natural, pre-pregnancy state.

Acne usually turns out to be worse during the first trimester (first three months) of pregnancy when the levels of such hormones are increasing. When you are breastfeeding, some of the hormones that trigger your acne during pregnancy may still be at work, and you may wish to continue treating your pesky pimples.

The best course is to disagree to any unnecessary drugs if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. After all, your baby is the primary concern. However, there is a way to remove pimples naturally if you wish to minimize any potentially harmful agents that might reach out to your child.

Why risk the safety and health of your child when you just want to eliminate acne problems? Acne problems can be troublesome. This is especially true if you use the wrong type of drugs to treat it, regardless of whether it is an over-the-counter cream or antibiotics which are to be taken orally. However, if you want to cure acne problem the natural and safe way, download "Acne free in 3 days" today!
