Acne scars can be desolating to their self esteem and outward appearance. In the easiest terms, scars form at the site of an injury to tissue. They are the discernible reminders of injury and tissue repair. In the case of acne, the injury is caused by the body’s inflammatory retroaction to sebum, bacteria and dead cells in the plugged sebaceous follicle. Many individuals will deal with aplomb issues due to their scars.
Post acne scars is one of the universal cosmetic problem and consequent from neglected acne or improper treatment. Post acne scars are absolutely a preventable condition which could have been prevented by simple advise from your dermatologist. It is now not as easy to efface these permanent scars , pits and blemishes.
After an acne lesion has healed, it may leave a red or hyper-pigmented mark on the skin. This is actually not a scar, but rather a post-inflammatory variation. Acne scar removal can be by dermabrasion. This is a technique where the top layers of the skin are removed with the use of a machine which literally excoriates the skin. Chemical peels are one more choice for acne scar removal. This works much the same as dermabrasion, but instead of machinery, chemicals are used to abrade the top layer of skin.
Acne removal laser treatments are comparatively painless, have no down time, and are should only be executed by experienced medical staff. Laser acne treatments normally last between fifteen minutes and one hour. There is no pain or down time for this maneuver. Acne scar removal is treated in much the identic way as fine line and wrinkle removal.
Lasers encourage new collagen growth, filling scars from the inside out. Brown and red discoloration left from acne scars are removed by treatments same to the removal of pigmented lesions and vascular lesions. Another drastic acne scar removal approach is punch grafts. This is a process where small skin grafts are taken and used to supersede scarred skin. This acne scar removal technique is usually used to remove deep acne scars.
Treatment for Acne scars
· Micro-dermabrasion is an acne scar treatment alike to dermabrasion but a suction tool is used with a rude tool or crystal blasting tool.
· Punch grafts is a procedure for removing scars. These are small portions of skin that are taken from one part of your body and inculcated where deep holes have occurred.
· Steroid injection directly into the scars may sometimes result in scar improvement. Doctors combine the steroid injects with surgery to reduce the size of scarring, but that is in selected patients.
· Chemical peels are often used to minimize sun-damaged skin, irregular pigment, and superficial scars.
· Soft tissue fillers is used to elevate depressed scars. A small amount of bovine collagen, collagen-related fillers, polymer implants or a patient’s own fat is interlarded below the surface of the skin, raising the depressed area.

In two simple steps, all you need to do to affordably improve your acne scarring is:
1. Gently remove the damaged layers of the skin and
2. Nurture your skin with collagen and moisture building foods so that your skin can more rapidly repair itself.
Acne Scar Remedy 1: Lemons
If your acne scars are dark, you can use lemon juice to lighten them. First, cleanse the scar with water. Dab one teaspoon of lemon juice into a cotton ball and smooth it over the acne marks. Leave for ten minutes, then rinse. Use caution with lemon juice because it can make your skin photosensitive. So be certain to use a sunscreen on any area you treat with lemon juice prior to going out into the sun.
Acne Scar Remedy 2: Soda
Exfoliate your skin with baking soda. Often times, a version of baking soda is used in cosmetic microdermabrasion treatments. You can give yourself a mini microdermabrasion treatment by mixing one teaspoon of baking soda with the two teaspoons of filtered water. Then gently rub the mixture on your acne scar for sixty seconds then rinse it off.
Acne Scar Remedy 3: Olives
After exfoliating your skin with baking soda, massage a pea-sized amount of olive oil onto your face. Acne scaring can cause the skin to lose its elasticity and suppleness. The moisturizing nutrients in the olive oil will penetrate the skin to deeply moisturize the skin and soften the skin’s texture.
Acne Scar Remedy 4: Fruits
In addition to eating fresh fruits to supply your skin with collagen building vitamin C, you can also smear them onto your face for gentle acid exfoliation. Just puree a forth a cup of pineapple and smooth it onto your face. Leave it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse. Since the pineapple contains ascorbic acid, it will impart a brightening effect on the face, and help fade acne marks.
Acne Scar Remedy 5: Water
It cannot be said enough. Your skin needs water. Especially when you want to promote the type of skin repair needed to heal acne scarring. Your skin needs water to keep the skin plump, to remove toxins, and the build new skin cells. Drink at least 80 ounces of filtered water a day to give your skin the quality and quantity of water it needs to reveal healthier, fresher skin.
Acne Scar Remedy 6: Consistency
The ultimate ingredient needed to completely remove acne scars is consistency. Acne scars form over a series of weeks, layer by layer. To remove the acne scarring, you need to use your acne home remedy on a daily basis to remove the damaged scar tissue layer by layer.
To be successful at fading and healing your acne scars at home, you just need to plan in advance. Devote time to removing the damaged skin and giving yourself the nutrients you need to build healthier skin. For example, you can decide to spend five minutes a day exfoliating your skin with baking soda or pineapple and another ten minutes enjoying collagen building foods like soy, grapes or oranges. Do it consistently and you will see and improvement in your scars.

I have a special meeting in two days and I need to lighten some of the acne scars I have. I know this sounds far fetched, but I have heard stories about products and home remedies that lighten scars in just a few days. I was wondering if anyone on here has experienced that or has any suggestions.
