How to get rid of really bad blackheads on my nose?

Can you answer Courtney XXX’s question about Acne?:

I have these blackheads on my nose. They barely look like blackheads anymore (everyone actually thinks they’re freckles) but they’re definitely blackheads. I’ve probably had them for 5 years or so and I’ve tried strips and exfoliating but they don’t go away. I feel like they’re too deep in my skin and that’s the reason why they’re not coming out and are also not very dark. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make them go away?

Acne Feedback: Hm, that’s odd that they haven’t gone away…
St. Ive’s has an apricot scrub that deals with blackheads, maybe try that. and there is also a product from clean and clear(i think) that is a cream or gel and you leave it on where you have blackheads to make them go away. Maybe take a steamy shower to open your pores and wash your face, then put on the product.

Acne Feedback: really? Those biore pore strips don’t works? They temportarily remove mine. They always come back because the pore never shrinks, but for a tiime it removes atleast some of them.

Acne Feedback: are you sure they’re not just enlarged pores? you say they barely look like blackheads, maybe they’re not. do they look more like tiny deep holes in your skin? you could try a good foundation makeup. first use a moisterizer and then put on a good foundation. not too much so that it looks cakey. just enough to go over your nose and fill in those enlarged pores. i don’t know how old you are but you say you’ve had them for 5 years so you have to be at least a teenager. while you’re at it, try the foundation on your entire face for a nice, smooth look. they do make foundation especially for people with enlarged pores. good luck!

Acne Feedback: IF you have insurance., go to the doctor and ask for Azelex cream. I have the same problem and it works great! The only bad thing is that it will dry your skin bad to the point where it’s peeling. But you can keep that under control with moisurizer. Hope this helps.

Acne Feedback: Hey, I am going through the same point, but a little less insane. I think you should try steaming off your face with a cloth/towel and hot water. As soon as the cloth/towel gets colder, place a biore pore strip. Wait for around 20-30 minutes then remove the strip off your nose. Rinse your face yet again but with cold water this time to close back the porse.

    GOOD LUCK!
