Are You Wondering How To Get Rid Of Whiteheads And Acne Symptoms?

Acne is a severe skin disease that affects a lot of people, including both teenagers and adults. This skin defect has several symptoms such as whiteheads, blackheads, pimples and zits all over the face, neck shoulders and back.

Being an acne sufferer in not an easy thing, it is not uncommon to just look in the mirror and burst out into tears. If only there was that magic formula to solve all our problems then everyone would be happy. Unfortunately, even with all the hype, there is no such medication that can just take our problems away. However, all is not lost, there are some things that can be done to help you to get rid of your acne and achieve a clear skin.

With all the confusion going on about diet and acne, this one of the most contributing factor to this terrible disease. Now the truth of the matter is, there is no direct relationship between your diet and acne. But some types of foods contribute to hormonal changes which are the prime factor in causing acne. Now do you see the connection?

Now while many people focus on healing their acne with prescription and over the counter drugs, there are many who also seeks to find a natural cure. Typical medications will address or treat acne with antibiotics, skin peelers or even with very toxic drugs that contains steroids that can harm the skin. This may be helpful but will only last for a short period of time and this is because the original cause of the acne is not treated and so the acne will pop up again and and most times even worst than before.

An important aspect of natural cure is dieting. It should be an habit to always try to have a balance diet along with regular exercising as this helps to bring the body into balance.

One of the common theories as to the cause of acne is that it is due to the improper release of toxins. Now everyday people sweat as a mean to release waste and heat that are by products of metabolism through the pores of the skin. However unhealthy dieting will cause the pores to become clogged with trapped waste and bacteria which will lead to acne.

To eliminate acne and reduce unhealthy effects diets rich in vegetables and fruits are recommended. The will provide a rich source of vitamins and minerals which will revitalize the body and keep it in balance.

With that said it is also recommended that acne suffers stay away from fatty foods and foods made from animal products such as milk based products as these will increase gland activities in the body.

Everyone should aim to steps to keep their body in balance. Healthy eating, regular exercising and regular relaxation will improve the body’s’ health and with so doing result in a clearer skin and thus the elimination of acne.

There you have it. There is no magic remedy to cure your acne, but if you make a few changes to your diet and eliminate certain types of foods, you can see a dramatic improvement in your skin condition.

Pimples – Causes and Symptoms of Pimples

Pimples are basically a skin disease typical to youth, but it may occur to the people at any age. If a pore gets clogged but stays open, the top may darken and you’ve got a blackhead. A pimple happens when dead skin and bacteria work their way under live skin. This leads to a small infection that makes your skin look red.

Pimples relate the term acne which is used to describe whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. (You may well recognize slang terms like spots, or zits). Most teenagers get the type of acne called acne vulgaris, which can show up on the face, neck, shoulders, back, and chest. Skin pores contain oil glands which naturally lubricate your skin and hair. But sometimes if a pore gets clogged beneath the skin with excess oil and bacteria, the dreaded acne is caused. Whiteheads happen when a pore gets clogged, closes, and then bulges out.

We have provided you here all symptoms, causes and treatment methods of Pimples.

Symptoms of pimples

There are two main types of acne: non-inflammatory and inflammatory.

In non-inflammatory acne, there are usually just a few whiteheads and blackheads on the face. A relatively mild type of acne, it can often be treated effectively with nonprescription medicines. The majority of people with acne have this type of acne.

With inflammatory acne, the whiteheads become inflamed and red pimples and pustules develop. In its most severe form, inflammatory acne can cause disfiguring cysts and deep, pitting scars of the face, neck, back, chest and groin. Prescription drugs and sometimes surgery are needed to treat inflammatory acne.

Causes of Pimples

The causes of pimples are as follows:

· Mainly pimples are caused by the over activity of the sebaceous glands that secrete oily substances onto the skin.

· Natural hormones reactions

· Plugged skin. Lots of skin cells can close the oil glands or pores, creating blackheads or whiteheads, (as mentioned earlier).

· Bacteria. Bacteria can easily infect oil glands and pores and grow very quickly.

· Family background and hereditary

· Pimples happens when oil (sebaceous) glands come to life around puberty stimulated by male hormones from the adrenal glands of both boys and girls

· The skin below and around the follicles are constantly shedding and growing new skin. These dead skin cells can become excessive and clog up the pores. Contributing to this may be the overproduction of sebum, clogging the pores even more. Once the pores become clogged bacteria form causing a lesion or pimple.

· Papules or pustules are what people usually call pimples. These are raised red bumps because the clogged pores have become infected. The bacteria also cause swelling and bulging. If the pimple is filled with pus it is called a pustule. The pus can become yellow with infection.
